Welcome to OWellness!

OHello, I’m Heather Boyle, the Founder of OWellness. For 24 years, I consulted some of the world’s largest brands, guiding them through strategy, innovation, and technology transformations. But no matter how advanced the technology or how brilliant the strategy, there was one underestimated factor that consistently made or broke success: the human side of change.

I’ve always been fascinated—maybe even obsessed—with behavioral psychology and what truly makes people tick.

A new way to experience wellness

Since grade school, I found myself drawn to understanding human behavior, so even while working in technology and business transformation, my focus naturally gravitated toward how people experience change, why they resist it, and what helps them embrace it.

  • Were people ready for change?

  • How did they feel about it?

  • Were their expectations realistic?

  • What’s the bigger picture?

  • And most importantly—what’s in it for them?

That’s where I leaned in—because connecting the dots has always been my superpower. And now, through OWellness, I bring that same systems-thinking, human-centered approach to health and well-being—helping people navigate change in their own lives in a way that feels real, attainable, and lasting.  I bring that same mindset to health and wellness, using systems thinking and a human-centered design approach to help individuals see the interconnected “ecosystem” of their health—how body systems, habits, and environments work together.

I started OWellness to create a different way to experience well-being and focus on behavior change, the change journey, and how to integrate strategies and tools into your daily life.  There is no shortage of health and wellness information or rationale for making lifestyle changes.  Preventable chronic diseases (heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, and more) continue to rise and are impacting younger age groups  I would argue there is too much information bombarding us daily, making it difficult for many to take action.  Not to mention, most messaging is fear-based, focused on negative impacts and outcomes, leaving us feeling...."What's the point, it doesn't matter, I already tried that."  â€‹

I say O, WELL...let's take a different view and focus on the 'why'.  Most people don't know themselves as well as they think they do, or struggle to be honest with themselves.  This is why self-discovery work is so important and where we have the most fun.  It's okay to admit flaws and shortcomings because we are all HUMAN.  We don't want anyone to feel shame, fear or guilt when trying to improve themselves.

We want you to laugh at yourself and have fun with the process.  â€‹Finding pockets of fun, humor, and joy can be a powerful way to uplift your vibe and increase motivation.  Learn about yourself and build a mindset that seeks out the lighter side of life, where laughter becomes your daily medicine.  By embracing these qualities, we can create a ripple effect of happiness and hope, inspiring others to find humor in their own journeys.

Let's get you smiling and laughing your way through self-discovery and the change journey!

Find your balance.  Learn to flow.  Set your rhythm.

About Heather

After 24 years of leading digital transformations—starting back when Google was just getting started—I gained global experiences I never imagined. I’ve had my share of successes and failures, but at what cost? My body collapsed under the pressure, triggering autoimmune disease and exhaustion. I couldn’t even be a mediocre version of myself—not as a mom, not as a wife, not as a consultant. In 2018, I started working with an Integrative Doctor and it changed my life.  She found so many issues by running labs outside the standard blood tests.  We found root causes to many of my health challenges and worked together to rebalance my body.  I was fascinated with the power of holistic, mind-body and integrative health practices and began taking steps to lean into this world.

I’ve practiced yoga for over 25 years, and in 2019, I finally decided to take the next step and become a certified yoga teacher. Then… COVID hit—so my timing? Impeccable. 😊

With the world on pause, I leaned into my lifelong curiosity and began self-educating on everything—from neural pathways to the gut microbiome and how they connect. Along the way, I earned certifications in Ayurvedic and Functional Nutrition, but I still wasn’t sure how it all fit together or how I would turn this knowledge into a career.

Then, life hit hard. In early 2024, my child became seriously ill, and everything shifted. That was my breaking point. I was done. Done with the corporate grind, done with the relentless pace, done ignoring what truly mattered. Something had to change.

At 3 a.m., lying next to my child in a hospital bed at CHOP, I made the decision. I enrolled in a Health & Wellness Coaching program right then and there. It was the moment where everything—my passion for behavioral psychology, wellness, and human transformation—finally clicked.

That’s when my second career truly began—one built on purpose, passion, and helping others navigate change in a way that actually works for them.
