Health Coaching FAQ's
Health Coaching at OWellness is a personalized, integrative coaching relationship designed to support emotional and physical health, nervous-system regulation, and long-term well-being. Our work blends emotional insight, lifestyle design, and biological understanding to help you create supportive rhythms that fit your reality.
Health coaching is a non-clinical, integrative service focused on education, emotional support, lifestyle integration, and behavior change. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Licensed therapists provide clinical psychotherapy and mental health treatment. OWellness coaching does not replace therapy, and we often view licensed mental health care as a valuable complement when appropriate.
Health coaching is ideal for women who feel overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, or ready for a more intentional approach to their well-being. Many of our clients are high-functioning women/mothers navigating demanding lives, managing all-the-things, and so overwhelmed they feel helpless. They want clarity, steadiness, and personalized support.
You do not need to be “unwell” to work with a health coach. Many clients seek coaching to support emotional balance, energy, stress resilience, habits, and long-term well-being
Health Coaching services at OWellness are not currently billed to or reimbursed by insurance. Health coaching is considered a non-clinical, integrative wellness service and is typically self-pay.
Some clients choose to use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for services, depending on their plan. We recommend checking directly with your provider to determine eligibility.
Your privacy matters deeply to us. As NBC-HWC certified health coaches, we are required to adhere to the same HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws required of licensed healthcare professionals, so your personal and health information is always protected and handled with care. All software is HIPPA compliant.
That’s very common. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear goal to begin. Part of coaching is helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing and identifying what kind of support will be most meaningful.
